Question Negatives of Provigal, Elvigal (Again!)

Ok, think I did something strange with the posts, so I'll start over again. As I have asked before, what are the side effects of Provigal? Specifically, I have two concerns--mood swings, for me quickly irritated and even rageful, I am worried how quickly it happens and over petty manners. I am worried that this is affecting my relationships with friends and family. The best word to describe it would be sullen.
The physical affect could be more serious. Does Provigal affect bones or tendons--my ankle is bothering me severely-I have to limp everywhere, an I am wondering if I just hurt it (though I dont remember) or if the medicine could be a factor.
Considering Elvagil (Amytriptolene), many people say it can cause wieght gain, but what about weight loss? Or is this Provigal's "fault"? Some loss could be attributed to a healthier diet, but I am worried that in the long run, this could be dentimental.
Thank yall so much for your input, I really appreciate it. I want to be involved in the board more, but the typing exhausts me and I am often too tired to do anything but check my mail!! But if anyone ever needs help, my email is dawn61488@aol.com!

Re: Negatives of Provigal, Elvigal (Again!)

Our youngest has tried both. Provigil gave her energy. At its lowest dose made her very, very irritible. The longer she was on it the worse it got and then she went to being very paranoid also. She has not been on it for a while. Her doctor now wants her to try half a pill a day. We are hoping she will get the energy without the mental side effects.

Amitryptyline was tried by both our daughters and they had the same reaction. It made them very sleepy and tired all day, and at night they would just lay in bed but did not sleep.
