Hey ya'll,

I was able to get on the boards by getting through on my email- we'll see how long this process works. (I still have access to my email- just not the internet.)

I have missed talking with ya'll daily so much- I feel so "lost." Been trying to read and catch up with everyone. Looks like we have some "newbies." Bare with me while I play catch up- with three little ones under foot it is not always easy to get to the computer.

I know alot of you were/are angry at my husband for "taking me off the computer," and I was angry at first, too, but ya'll have to understand that I have lied to him more than once concerning ordering drugs off the internet or be-bopping down to the local MD for a script- there are some valid trust issues still there. He was sorry that I was unable to post on the boards, but the block he put on the interent, blocked the boards. (I hope this little set-up works out so that I can stay on the boards.) He has been really wonderful in supporting me and helping to get me clean. Other than that day I took the meds for the dentist work on my mouth, I have not "gorged" on any pain meds, but am still taking the sub every couple of days. He bought me a diamond band for Valentine's Day (and not that I think he or anyone could buy my or anyone's love), it did express to me that he truly loved me and I appreciated so much that he would spend so much on me after what I have put him through! Granted, he is not perfect, no one is, but he is trying- I firmly believe that! Ya'll cut him a little slack!

Lisa, how are you? On day 9? 10? Hang in there girl! You can do it this time!

Rosie, sounds like you are really cutting down on your pill intake! I am really proud of you. I know it is hard and you probably aren't feeling your best. but hang in there and know that things will get better one day!

ddanna, how are you? "Where are you" with your situation? (I am a little "behind!")

Marcia, TwinLyne, BestFriend, Shell, Kinda, Root, Banker, and any others I have failed to mention, I really thank you for your concern and hope that I am able to stay on the boards now. Post me if any of ya'll need anything! Like I said last week, I took for granted the support and the mere fact that I could "run to the computer" for help when I needed it from my circle of friends here! It is so good to be able to post to ya'll! Let me start reading now and catch up!

The thing is though, Root, I only have one script left and my husband and I would rather not go back to this doctor and just get off. I am just wondering how I need to go about tapering off 30 8mgs tablets in the next few weeks?

Obviously, we tried "just stopping" and after five days...SPLAT....back to the sub! But like I said, its just every two or three days so maybe it won't be so hard getting off this time versus the improper way I did it last time!?!?

Thanks for checking on me- my prayers are with you and your appointment coming up. Keep me posted.

You sound so good and upbeat, its really reassuring to hear. If you are okay with your husbands actions, then we have to be too. Only you know your own situation, and we trust you (even if he doesn't yet!)

Its great to see you back on Board, as John 3:16. She Rides Again.!!!!!!! Soon, you must give me a big long post ( the kind we use to lose to cyberspace LOL!!), and tell me how you have been. I know, I know. Everyone on this Board will be asking you to do the same thing for them.! Ahhh, "The Price Of Fame and Friendships."
But, I thought I was your "Special Yankee Rhett", and I don't want to share you..... Okay, but just for a little while. LOL!!!
As you might of seen in my post tonight, the wife and I have been on the "brink" for quite some time. First time I have ever really bought up the subject before, on this Board. Kinda Embarrassing. She claims I am no longer the Man she married. And, she is "Right". I don't take her's or anyone else's B.S. anymore.!!! This has been on a downward spiral for quite afew months now. Ahhh, Ferget about it.! This is a "GOOD News" post.---- My "Southern Belle" is back, and that has lifted my Spirits again.!!!!!
Drug wise, I am still Clean.! Insomnia is still a son of a gun (Look at this time of posting.). But when I do sleep, I get a good 6-7-8-hours of "normal sleep". Still having some intense "anger-anxiety-Depression" times, though. Not sure if its because of irregular sleeping habits, OR her.....And alot of headaches. (Now that is her.!!!). LOL!!!
But when that is not happening, I am still the Jokester, and quite Happy.!!! Should be returning to work around next 2-3 weeks, I believe. Thats good......
And the Gaelic talk between Yinksy and me is just teasing each other, and some poems mixed in.... Know what I mean, " Mo Muirneach Miche`all`in..." ( My Darling, Michelle...). Its never pronounced the way it looks. And sounds so much "Sweeter".!!! Kind of romantic, really...
If you are asleep, then thats good news. " Sleep comes easiest to the Fairest of them all ". If not, you know where I am.....
