Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself.
I am 38 yrs old and have asthma for about 15 years. I had very brittle asthma for the first 10 years with many hospitalizations and intubations and little to no control. The past 5 years have been much much better !
I haven't had to stay in the hospital, and have only visited a couple of times! I take Theophylline 900mgs per day, and use albuterol, Serevent and Pulmicort inhalers I have a nebulizer too. I have been on Pred 3 times in the past 6 weeks though..YUK!!!I think that is because I had to quit taking Accolate.Anyway...I look forward to meeting you all. Good Breathing and Take Care!!! hi colleen. i'm new here too. i'm 26, take flovent 220 (total of 880 twice a day) serevent, zyrtec, rhinocort, singulair, proventil and xopenex. i've had asthma and eczema since i was a toddler, so i've been around the block a few times. good to meet you all!

hi coleen welcome, there are a lot of very experianced people here to converse with. I was just wondering why you had to stop taking accolate, I know its in the same family as singular (which I take )
