Lipitor and these symptoms ?

Just started on 10mg per day last week. After a couple of doses (which I take before bed) I started feeling like my heart was pounding harder than usual and that I also couldn't sleep that well at all. So now I take the pill during the day. I still feel like my heart is pounding somewhat. I'm just wondering if its my body getting used to it or what. My doctor said he never heard of anyone having my kind of symptoms (of course not). I also take a beta blocker and ace inhibitor for blood pressure as well as nexium for gerd. Thanks to any replies.........

Im no expert, but it sounds like you need to get another evaluation for high blood pressure. To me...if you can actually notice a difference in the pounding of your heart, especially at a resting moment, something doesnt seem quite right.
