Question Anyone else taking Advair?

Hi all!!

Well i'm off the albuterol--I went back to my dr and he gave me Advair, said to take it every 12 hours. Is anyone else taking this? So far I haven't noticed much of a difference, but then again I haven't been out much b/c of an injury. I did run the other day, but that was outside in the cold air and my breathing was slightly labored I think more because of the cold than anything else.

Let me know if you are taking this medicine!!

Thanks!

Angry

Thanks for all the helpful replies, guys.

Argh.

I like this medicine, though. I think it's far better than albuterol.

Yes I have been currently switched to Advair. I was taking Serevent ans Aerobid that was a pain. Advair is imo better. I've had fewer attacks than I've ever had.I'm taking I believe 50/250 twice a day. It's helped.

nicest part about advair is not having to baby-sit two inhaler supplies -- I would love to be able to take it except for the fact that I sing and flovent does narsty things to my voice... hoarse and whatnot, that pulmicort doesn't do.

I find it a pain in the arse to have to babysit two inhalers since one has 60 doses and the other has 100 (really 50 since I take two puffs) and I have to renew them at different times. The powder form also makes it much easier b/c you don't have to worry about the timing of the breath like with the spray-thing, just make sure you DON'T STORE IT IN YOUR BATHROOM CABINET the moisture will wreck it and you will not get a proper dose.
