Blurred Vison :(

O.K. update. I'm 95% better, after suffering from brutal bacterial sinusitis. My "protocol" has worked well in clearing the nose and sanitizing the sinus cavities.

However, I have one annoying persistent problem. My vision has deteriorated. I have a hard time focusing on distant objects, and my vision is sometimes "cloudy."

Does anyone else have this symptom? Could it be from the antihistamines (Astelin)? Allergies?

I get that when my allergies are causing a lot of inflamation. Don't know if it is the same as you but the cloudy is really familiar to me. Mine was also related to muscle spasms and I was even given an eye rx but I got muscle relaxers and take my antihistamine all the time and it helps.

When your sinus passage are swollen(possibly ethnoid) they put pressure on the eyes. Since my surgery and even before I had lots of pressure on my eyes cause of swelling. It has gotten better now that the swelling is going down. I'd give it a week or so and if it stays the same contact your ENT and discuss your eyes.

Wllergies can cause your eyeball to actualy swell. They do mine, That should only happen when you are actually having an allergy attack, though.

Blurred visions can be a side effect of several medications. You should have your doctor or pharmacist go over everything you are taking and see if any meds could be causing it. (I had it from Serzone.)

Re: Blurred Vison :(

I'm currently on Astelin nasal spray, Singulair (once a day), Nasacort nasal spray, and I sometimes take Mucinix.

I suspect the Astelin might be contributing to the blurred vision. But I coud be totally wrong. I'm going to get my eyes checked tomorrow, and I will see what the doctor says.
