I'm a single mom with an adult child (19) with Autism. I'm limited working at home or away from home part time only and need to place my daughter in an appropriate home. I'm still bathing her, but she can do other self help things alone or with minimal assistance. All the residential facilities in the Houston area are either too institutional(cold), too expensive(nice and on my wishlist), or the waiting list is 3 to 7 years long and I need help now.
Anyone know of nice residential place for autistics in the Houston area?
