Exclamation Autism/MMR

Hi, My name is Robin and my son Robert is going to be 13 next month and he has Autism. What I would like to say frist is that I feel myself and all parents of special childern are blessed, god would have never gave us are special children if he thought we did not diserve them. We are very Lucky.
My son has had a very hard 13 years, when I had Robert I was in labor for 9 hours, I pushed for 4 hours the Doctor used forceps, the frist time she used them they poped off my sons head and fail on the floor, she got another pair. My sons little head was so brused. His left eye was black and blue when he opened his eye it was clouded over with glaucoma, and he had peters desise (spelling) which is his eye veines collapsed (sp) due to the forceps. He had 23 surgarys (sp) before he was 1 years old. With everything he went through Robert was a very happy baby. Robert started talking saying mama dada baba papa mema, he was doing so well, he was blind in his left eye, but that didn't slow him down at all. Then it happen --- he stoped talking was always looking off into space, he went into his own world. I was young - 21 a single parent I had no idea what was going on with my angle. I took him to so many Doctors they all said he was fine he would start talking again soon, some kids go through this not to worrie, I had his hearing checked he was fine. I took him to the local school and they tested him and told me he was border line Autisic. What was this I never heard of this before, I started reading everything I could get my hands on about Autism. Robert started school when he was 18 months old at my home, his teachers came 3 times a week, trying to teach him eye contact and trying to get his speech back. He got it back when he was 4, it was the best gift in the world to hear my son say mama agin, I never thought I would hear those words again. Robert worked so hard, and still does. I didn't get him potty trained till he was 7 and he still wet the bed till he was 11. We would be at the store shopping and I would have to change my 5 year olds dipper in the ladies restroom, I never thought to much about it, he was my baby, till one day a lady told me if I was a better mother I would have already have my son potty trained and I was a disgrace. She said that in front of my son..... I was so upset she turned and walked out I stood their crying with my son rubbing my face and wipeing my tears away. I swore I would never let another person do that again to my son or I. I got very mean when I would see people looking at my son and I in the restroom. I would say "What are you looking at" I got so tired of the looks when I would take my son out with me, why was a mother holding on to her ten year old son, the boy looked fine, he looks like another little boy. But my son is special and not a whole lot of people know that. Will now my baby is going to be a teenager next month, and boy is he changing, 13 years old he wears a size 36 in mens pants size 8 1/2 shoes mens large shrits. He his a big boy but hes doing good in school. No special class but speech, he loves spelling and math and does good in both, he loves school and has lots of friends, his brithday party last year he had 15 girls and 2 boys at his party, they look after him at school and take very good care of him when moms not around.
Well I guess I just wanted to put my feelings down and I just found this bord, I'm sorry about my spelling, I don't have my son talent for spelling. But I was wondering about the MMR vaccination, and if it caused my sons Autism, I am looking into it and if I do find a conection I will do somethng about it, and I am supprise no one is or I haven't found anything on it yet. But if these shoots are causeing our babys to have autism then they need to come up with something new, I heard they want to make 1 big vaccination, if the MMR is doing this to our children I can't imagian what 1 big vaccination could do to our children and I don't want to ever find out. If you have any input on this or just want to talk please leave me a mesage. Thank You Robin
