Several Abnormal Paps...normal Biopsy

Ok I Am Confused. I Am 27 And Had My First Abnormal Pap In Dec. I Had The Colp And My Gyn Took 6 Areas That Looked Bad. The Biopsy All Came Back Normal, But My Pap Was Again Mod-sev. She Wanted To Be Sure So She Sent Me To A Oncologist. She Did Another Colposcope And She Took 3 Areas... Again "inconclusive", Tissue Of Biosby Normal, But Pap Mod-severe? So.. I Had A Cone Biopsy Last Tues. I Have Not Had My Post Op, But I Talked To The Nurse And All She Could Say Is That There Were No "high" Levels Of Dysplasia? I Go To My Post Op In A Week And A Half. Any Thoughts???

Anything can cause you to have abnormal pap - lack of folic acid and other nutrients, bad genes, sex before your exam. Have you thought about a 2nd opinion?

Do you think that I chould go to a third Dr.? My current oncologist is one of the best. She specializes in female cancers. Her practice is at OU medical center and she is head of some major researce studies. I think that she is awesome. She is my current second opion. Would anyone go to a third? I feel pretty comfortable with her.

What did the first doctor say, if she is the second opinion?

My first Dr. was my regular gyn. She has been my gyn for 8 years and through all three of my pregnancies. She said the same thing. Severe dysplasia on the pap, but normal biospy. She did the first biospies and pap.
