About moving possible to another state...worried about finding a new pm Dr. especially in an area where we will know no one. You can read the other post., Just curious if anyone had/has done this, and would love to hear from anyone. Thanks in advance..Surgical Disaster

I would first inform my current PM Dr. and tell him the situation you are in and ask him if he will refer you to the new pm Dr. Possibly, he may even know of a clinic to call in the state which you will be moving.

I would go to the America Academy of Pain Medicine website and locate a pm Dr. in the state you will be moving to. I would definitely call ahead and secure an appointment. This will also give you the opportunity to have your current pm doctor fax over any medical records the new doctor requires.
