dont know what to do

ihave a problem i recently went to the painclinic i was on ultram he took me off it because it wasnt working well the problem is he put me on celebrex and gave me vicodin to take with it i havent taking any because im scared of ruining what ive accomplished i never abused my methadone but i was definitly dependant on it im so scared someone please give me some advice thanx so much kelliegh

Hi kelligh-
I don't blame you for being scared..since many of the people who take vikes for pain-end up abusing them.
Maybe you can take them as needed..only when you are really in severe pain-have you spoke to your doc about any other alternatives?
If you didn't abuse the methadone maybe you will be ok w/ the hydrocodone.
Its a tough call-you could try it as needed but if you sense you"like them too much"..don't take them-and try another med.

ive tried all the alternatives for pain had those epidural cortisone shots ultam vioxx bextera celebrex alone and ibuprofen the sad thing is pain killers seem to be the only thing that work i just feel like if i take one i ruined my accomplishment but i hurt so bad i have 2 bulging discs ang degenerative disc disease thanks for your support heather it means so much to me

I too thing it is scary to take the vikes since so many people love the way they feel on them...It is so easy to abuse them....There has to be some alternative for the pain besides "VIKES" It is very hard to get off of....
What about yoga ? I think people with bad backs can do some sore of yoga? Check with your Dr.
