Joeh, spiro question

Hi, from my understanding you're pretty knowledgable about spiro. I'm a 19 year old male and have had mild acne ever since I was 14. I don't want to go on accutane because i don't want to lose my hair. I ordered more b5 which has helped me out and monitoring my diet and exercising has helped too. I just think that spiro will put me over the top. I'm a freshmen in college and we have one week left. My goal is to be clear in 4 months by the next school year so i have some confidence to talk to people(girls) and feel good about myself. What would you recommend dosage wise for the time i have(4 months). I'm going to take the b5 and a bcomplex. I don't care if i lose my sex drive cause you can't have sex when you can't look a girl in the face to talk to them in the first place. I really need this. What do you recommend?

first of all if you have just mild acne cant you control it with just a topical?i dont know if you wanna risk being sterile for mild acne.my derm has some guys on 25 mgs a day.if your going to take it 25-50 mgs a day would probably be good for mild acne male sufferers.plus dont stay on it for more than 3 months straight.you might want to try topical spiro first.i never had it so i dont know how it works.its not worth taking spiro for just mild acne.im mainly addressing guys that have severe acne and its making their life a living hell.i had accutane twice before and it didnt work.3 docs gave up on me and said i had to live with the rest of my life.i didnt want to live with it the rest of my life.so thats why im on spiro.

thanks for the reply, I have tried pretty much everything under the sun, I've tried at least 4 oral antiobiotics, topical benzyclin, benzamyacin, differin, benzoil peroxide, just a ton of stuff. But you think if i went on 50mg a day for 3 months it would clear me up?? That's all I'm going to need before school starts. This acne has ruined my life. I have the worst self confidence imaginable. If i'm going to give this a try could i get it prescribed from my doc or would i have to get it at a derm?? Thanks again

i'm no doctor, but before i'd try spiro as a male, i'd try avodart. check out some of the posts on this.

yeah i have been looking at avodart too but there's hardly any specific info on it. I wouldn't have a clue on how much to take and nobodies really commented on it like they have for spiro.
