Question pain in lower right pelvic area

I have had this pain on my lower right side that comes and goes for a week now. When I cough are move it feels like a knife stabs me there. I have no other symptoms but that. What do you think it could be?

Re: pain in lower right pelvic area

I would wager anything that it's your ligaments. In that area is the hip flexor ligament amone others and it's enough to drop you when it's acting up. I don't know if you're female, but if you are, this can also be a sign of pregnancy. At least it was for me. It would happen if I stood to quickly, sneezed, coughed, twisted wrong and sometimes, just because.

Is it really quick but if it lasted for a period of time would be a ten and land you in the ER? Do some research on ligament laxity and a description of the pains that go with it. Have you injured the area at all? Now, for this to hurt, it could be damage in any part of the pelvic region because they are all so intertwined. I messed up my pelvis in an accident and am still having troubles with the dang thing and it's been ten years now! I also have a problem with ligament laxity, which keeps the whole process going.

Look it up and see if those symptoms fit the situation and let me know. I hope this helps. But, on the bright side, you're not going to die, even though it may feel like it! LOL

Um, do you have a fever? Check out appendicitis stuff on the net.

Well Im sorry Im unsure if your male or female if your female it could possibly be a ovarian cyst. If your male I would do a search for RLQ pain in a search engine and you can see a list of things that could possibly be wrong.
