Help!

Please help... I'm wondering if I have a yeast infection... I have a white discharge but not cottage cheesish or anything. It doesn't itch all the time, but SOMETIMES it does. Not ever REALLY bad or anything. BUT i noticed it caused 2 little cuts on the outside of me!!! It's really annoying.. does this sound like yeast infection? its not an std.... i was RECENTLY checked so please dont tell me its some std.

Re: Help!

I am curious what is the name brand of the birth control pills you were on when you kept getting the yeast infection? I have a current situation but I am also having pain when i finish peeing and frequent urination. In March I went back on the pill Lo-Ovral and I got treated for a yeast infection the symptoms subsided then in April I got symptoms again except this time it would hurt when i finished peeing. My doctor said that I didnt have a UTI. But he gave me medicine for it anyway. Then in May I got the same symptoms again. Another doctor checked my urine and said that I DO have a UTI. I am currently on the meds for that. I got her to test me for Chlamydia since she said that my specimen for the yeast infection came back negative. Is it possible that I have a yeast infection also but it cant be detected?

Re: Help!

im on Yasmin birth control. it's been great, and i was talking to my mom and she doesnt think it's a yeast infection b/c she said it would ITCH like crazy, so i'm not sure!! can you have a yeast infection that doesnt always itch? ive read of some people normally get a thicker discharge certain times of the month, so maybe this is just happening to me?? i have NO itching right now and actually the discharge stopped i think... it comes and goes.. so maybe this isnt one?? A yeast infection would stay until i got medicine, right? yeah i wanna know if the DR would tell you that you have one during your annual checkup. she didnt say anything to me. i used to get UTI's too!! weird! i had no std's and i was concerned about chlamydia too. i take AZO's cranberrry pills after sex or anytime i feel like my peeing is not normal. it's been working great! and cranberry juice, but the pills are better so you dont have to get so full from drinking so much juice! good luck with everything.

Re: Help!

Yes with a yeast infection it does not contastly itch. It comes and goes. Cottage cheese looking discharge is a sign of a yeast infection but you can have a yeast infection without discharge. I have noticed that some of my itching symptoms and discharge(which wasnt much) has changed for the better since I took the diflucan pill on Tuesday. Granted I still have itching every now and then but I believe and hope it is subsiding. I am still waiting on my Chlamydia test results which should be back next week.
