uchimama Senior Member Join Date: May 2004 Posts: 140	Early Menopause I'm 41 and I've began having hot flashes. I'm wondering if it could be early menopause. I'm not sure I have this right so please correct me if I'm wrong. When I gave birth to my son 20 years ago my uterus ruptured and I ended up losing an ovary and a fallopian tube. Of course my uterus was rended useless also but I was finished having children anyway. I'm wondering, if your ovary gives off hormones and I'm missing one....would that cause me early menopause? Forgive my spelling...I just got home after a 12 hour shift and I'm pooped. WHERE'S MY SPELLCHECK????
