Hey everyone,
I'll start with what most people do and tell you my history. I'm now going to be a senior in high school and have had moderate acne since the beginning of freshman year. I've used about all the topical products possibly with them helping very little, then i did minocycline sophomore year. After using that for a few months I got drug induced lupus and that is not too fun to say the least. So me and my parents finallyn decided it is time for me to get the big Accutane. I went to the derm my doctor recommended on the 23rd of june. She agreed that I am ready for it and the blood tests and signings were under way. They got my good blood tests back the 24th and that night I popped my first pill. This is Day 2 and like many no side effects just yet. I'll try to write here a few days a week. If any questions just post. I'm taking 40mg once a day

Well everyone, I'm glad to tell you after 4 days no side effects or problems just yet. I know it is very early but I've read of somer who got them very fast. The only truly noticible thing is my pimples I had seem to of been drying up a little, maybe it is the weather or maybe accutane....will keep you updated

Hello dude. It seems that you start the same as me. I am on my 4th day today at 40mg per day as well. Instead of starting my own journal, I'll just read yours. I think the only different between you and me is that I am 24.

I am still very oily. I am not looking forward to the initial period of destruction.
