Strange stool behavior (advice?)

Hi
About 2 weeks ago, I saw a little blood in my stool, so I decided to keep a log of my movements (pun intended).

From 6/17 - 6/21 my movements either had no blood, a trace of blood on the side of the stools (it was never much, or a complete discoloration), blood flakes (looked like small portions of leaves, but they were reddish), or blood only on the wipe. For the most part, they were all pretty loose.

Once I saw the blood and the loose stools, I started bulking up on fiber in my diet. As a result, the stools got firmer and there wasn't any blood in them at all (they were solid brown). This transition basically occured on the same day.

Now, (6/30) after about a week and a half of solid, clean BMs, I had loose stools and the small traces of blood again. My no coincidence, I also haven't had much fiber in my diet for the past couple days, and I had a horrible habit of drinking slurpees (gas station slushes) once a day for about 3-4 days straight.

I have a tendency to get paranoid about small things, and this really really sounds like a diet issue (I'm going to resume my high fiber intake immediately). However, is this anything to really be concerned about? I'm barely 25 y/o, and I'm in pretty good health overall.

Some people say to report any strange stool behavior to a doctor immediately, and other say that it's a problem when it lasts for a week or so. For example, one recent movement had one pencil thin stool (other stools were wider). But the immediate movement afterward was perfectly solid and normal.

Any advice? Outside of this strange, inconsistant stool behavior, I feel fine. I'm not fatigued, and I have my usual appetite. I haven't thrown up in a very long time, and I don't have a fever or any signs of illness.
