There is a drug called something like Motilum, available in europe or through online pharmacies without a prescription. It is the only current alternative to Reglan. But Motilum has yet to get FDA approval. There is a Yahoo group called gastroparesis which has a lot of information on this subject. I recommend this as a first step.

I had gastroparesis about a year ago and it was horrible, I know what you are going through. There are even doctors that specialize in the treatment of it, you can find more about that in the yahoo group. My doctor was very unsympathetic and unhelpful. It turned out that mine dissapeared as mysteriously as it came when my type 2 diabetes resolved itself due to weight loss. I was almost at the end of my rope.

very interesting but some of them kind of scary

It is a veryy scary disease. It scared me to death, than god it resolved. I wish you the same luck I had. There are people there who will call you and help you through it.
