Red face help

HI can anyone tell me if they get
spasm in their esophigus or can feel the food go down the pipe
ive had electrified tummy for days now and it feels like i can feel a tube going from middle of breast bone up to my ear ...if i eat anything it seems to make the electrical feeling in my tummy worse...i think im scaring myself as i had blocked ears and i went to swallow and couldn't then the next morning i woke with adrenaline in my tummy and it was burning and roaring....i keep thinking what if its cancer of the esophigus and what if it spasms right up,,,,im sure im scaring myself
can a tight diaphram cause you to feel like your adominial area is too tight to firt food in...also could ibs be connected
i had a scan lasy year that said everything was okay but i have not had my asophigus checked..can you just have something minor wrong with you that can cause these scarey symptoms

Lightbulb Re: help

Hello Marj,

I suggest you seek out a GI doctor and have an EDG done. This will look at your esophagus and they will be able to tell if anything is wrong. Feeling the pain up in your ears is called "referred pain". I often get food stuck in my esophagus due to a surgery, and it will hurt all the way up to my ears.

Re: help

Hi Again Marj,

While i have been diagnosed with IBS - a label the docs use for anything wrong with the digestive system they can't explain, I actually have chronic pancreatitis with severe malabsorption and early stages of type 1 diabetes.
