Muscular dystrophy

my son is nearlly five and has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. I've only known since March 2003. He see his doctor on monday and they tell me he has an enlarged heart but didn't really go into detail. I've now got to wait for an echocardiogram to be done but I'm really worried. Can anyone tell me if they know anything about this at all

How did the echocardiogram go? My son has Duchenne MD as well. He is 7 years old. I hope all is well.

Hi! Sorry it's taken so long to answer but I've been really busy as Jordan has just started school. I took him for his echo and was really scared as the Dr thought his heart was enlarged. The results were great his heart and blood flow are all normal and healthy. He has now got to be tested once a year just to keep an eye out for any signs of change. Good news for once.
