Feels like something is stoping air get in to my throat, more short of breath than tightness, my chest rattles when i breathe in too, is this asthma mucus? i am taking beconase for hayfever but its nearl run out. It could be asthma mucus, but it's trapped from inflammation. Are you on a steroid (preventative) inhaler like Advair, Flovent, or Pulmicort? Have you been using your rescue inhaler more than usual? Do you wake up at night?

Hayfever can definitely be the cause of the mucus rattling, especially since it seems like it's one of your triggers. Whatever you're allergic to gets into your airways and causes them to spasm/swell, and your airways produce the mucus to try and flush it out. See your doctor within the next few days.

Has this been going on for a while? I think I remember you posting about a month ago with the same question.

Take care.
