I have been diagnosed with Schizo Affected Bipolar disorder. I am on 450 mg of the antidepressent Effexor XR and 30mg of Abilify and 3mg of Risperdal daily. Does anyone else have this specific disorder and are you on such high dossages of these or similar medicines? I've been on a rollercoaster ride of different meds for about a year and a half now. I'm wondering if anyone is aware of negative side affeccts of these large dossages of the meds I described?
I have just heard that neuroleptics will help with delusions. I am not sure if you are delusional or hallucinating?? Also Congitve Behavior specialist can make huge differences!!
yes I had also been diagnosed schizoeffective, and i was taking a large amount of medicines like you. 800 of seroquel, 4 of risperdal twice a day and 600mg of effexor XR.

You seem to be speaking of the past. The drugs didn't help you...has anything helped? I didn't tolerate the Seroquel well when it was tried. The abilify seems to help a little...at least with the suicidal thoughts.
