Re: Eczema Does anything help???

My daughter has it too and we found the only thing that makes it go away is Elidel. It is a cream that you put on several times a day and it works in a day. You have to have a prescription so call the Dr. Good luck!!I have one question for you. Do either of you have asthma? I think it is pretty common for people to have both.

Re: Eczema Does anything help???

elidel doesn't help me lol. then again I am considered in the very severe range of eczema. what has helped me the most is environmental changes. no more carpet, all hardwood floors, avoidance of anything that may trigger, cetaphil lotion, etc. Basically removing all possibilities at home has helped as me & my entire family suffer. If you want me to elaborate more, let me know cuz I am tired as all heck right now and I don't feel like typing it all right now lol.

Re: Eczema Does anything help???

My son had eczema when he was very young (4) and he had asthma! He was
allergic to almost everything.
His doctor recommened Nevia cream, I hope that is the correct spelling? You can
find this cream at most any store, it comes in a blue container.
It worked for him. But a prescription would probably be stronger.
