Infrared Saunas

Can anybody shed any light on Infrared Saunas other than what their web sites state? Any real health benefits? Pros and Cons of using an infrared sauna? thanks.

Cool Re: Infrared Saunas

Hello,
Yes I do know about these saunas as we have one in our home(buseness). It's the best thing I have ever invested in.Ours is a Soft Heat sauna that is made in Canada. It is great for all sorts of aches and pains, weight control(I haven't loss weight but this helps me keep my weight under control.Great for cold winter days.We us it before and after massage ,exercise. This type of sauna warms into an 1 1/2 inches into you body. The only thing I found wrong with them is you shouldn't use them when you have your period as it makes you flow heavier. Also if you have high bllod pressure you can still use it but at lower temps. We love our sauna. We also have a steam sauna but don't use it as much. This Soft heat sauna you can read in them and talk on the phone(has phone jack in them and speakers.)They are expensive but thy are worth thier weight in gold.If you have firbermanglia(sp?) These saunas are the best for that.It leaves your joinst fexible. Also there is no water involed and you can were your street clothes in there and still get all the benfits. It's like a little piece of heaven when it's -30C .
Good luck
