Question eye cream

At what age or starting signs should eye cream become a part of a beauty ritual?

Game over. I had to accept the fact that in life some women are simply better and no amount of shoes or lack of pastry or making of pies will change that. I will never be the woman with the perfect hair who can wear white and not spill on it and chair committees and write thank you notes. And I can't feel bad about that.

Re: eye cream

I'm 25 and I've been using an eye cream regularly for about a year now. It won't hurt to start younger though and it may help keep dark circles and puffiness away.

Re: eye cream

Start BEFORE you get the signs. As well, don't pull or tug on the skin around the eyes.

Wear sunglasses when outside, and don't sleep with your face squished into your pillow.

The creams won't help much with the puffiness or the dark circles.

But, you should still use a cream that's appropriate for your skin type and age.

Re: eye cream

I agree you should start as soon as possible and before the signs appear. At your young age, you can simply use a basic moisturizing eye cream.

Re: eye cream

I started to use an eye cream in my early twenties as part of my daily morning and evening routine. I never miss a day and put it on after I put on my moisturizer- under my eyes, around the outer edges, and on my lids. Now 20 something years later people tell me how lucky I am that I have hardly any lines and even ask if I had my eyes done. I attribute it to the consistant and daily use of eye creams throughout the years. It really works and the pay off is well worth it.
