blisters on tongue

My 12 yr old nephew keeps getting blisters on his tongue, real big ones on the tip that are painful, he has a real bad salt addiction, licks salt off table, of chips, everything, could this be it? Is there some other reason for it?

well, i have no idea. this could be what is causing it. but i would let his dr know about this. also, the thing with the salt usually means a deficientcy in something. my sister did this as a child. good luck
