Skin Graphing and Stretch Marks

Hello, I was wondering if anyone has information on cosmetic skin graphing???
Until recently I was under the impression that it was basically used for burn victims or for people who were born with deformities, but I came across a web site that mentioned COSMETIC skin graphing.
See I have stretch marks basically all over but were I'm focusing at is the top of my inner thighs. It said that skin graphing is used on the legs, arms, face and anywhere where the skin isn't as thick ( I.E. ~ Torso, Chest).

Also I was wondering of those who had a tummy tuck and had stretch marks, did your stretch marks increase or did the doctor seem to erase most of them. I'm considering a tummy tuck as soon as we have our second child.

Thank for any imput on this subject, any info will be greatly appreciated

Re: Skin Graphing and Stretch Marks

I cannot say about the skin graphing, but I have consulted my Dr. about a tummy tuck. I have stretch marks from my pubic bone to a few inches below my belly button and he said that most of that skin would be cut out getting rid of most of my stretch marks.

You should talk to your Dr. about what type of tummy tuck you'd like and whether or not it would remove the skin that has the stretch marks. It won't help the other parts, but it could reduce the ones on your stomach.
