Exclamation Hair Problem?

My hair is so fried and dried from blow drying and coloring! Does anyone know any home remedies that could help moisturize my hair or at least make it look nicer? I’ve heard Mayo can do the trick, but it doesn’t seem to work for me!

You can do a deep conditioning. wash your hair as ususal. Put in conditioner and leave it in. Put on a showercap. Then use your hairdyer to keep the hair warm for 20-30 min. The showercap will keep in the moisture and the heat opens the hair folicals to allow the moisture to go in.

I Know you can do this at the salon. Call and ask for a deep conditioning. They have good products too and the kind of dryer you sit under. It also shouldn't be too expencive. My place charges $5.

Hope this helps

I've also done the conditioner thing, but what seems to work best for me is...

I put thermasilk conditioner in my hair, and before you put it in your hair, about 10 min. before, put a towel in the dryer. When you get the conditioner on your hair, put a shower cap on, and then put the hot towel on your hair. When it feels like its getting cold (the towel), already have another towel in the dryer. Or just use a HOT water soaked towel. Might be a little more complicated, but it sure helps my hair when its looking a little abused.
