Dr. Dernese's products

Has anyone tried these? There is so much stuff being touted out there. Also, if anyone is familar with her products, is her peel in a jar (with 60 pads) different than dermabrasion? Would they work together or be overkill?

Re: Dr. Dernese's products

I saw Dr. Dernese on QVC lastnight, too, promoting those pads. I have to admit, I was tempted to order some. Her skin is amazing for a woman her age! I just started watching QVC and I have noticed that I want to buy everything after listening to everyone calling in a raving about the products...are those calls for real?! Anyway, if anyone has used these products, please let us know if they are worth trying.

One thing she said that made sense to me is the importance of using penetrating serums rather than heavy creams.

Re: Dr. Dernese's products

Hi Ladies!

Sorry, I just saw your posts. I have been using Dr. Denese's products for quite a while and others on these boards have too because of my good experience with her line. Her products are the absolute best I've found. I will never use any other skin care line again.

The firming pads are moistened pads that you use on a regular basis. The microdermabrasion cream is excellent. However, when you use the microderm cream, you can't use the firming pads if I remember correctly. I actually typed out a schedule of what products to use when cause at first it was a little confusing. If you do a search on this topic on this board, you will find alot more detailed info on Dr. Denese's products. I have many of her products and continue to reorder as needed. The price is not the most reasonable but I've paid alot more for other substandard "junk". And to me, her skin care is worth the money.

I realize everybody responds differently to various products, but I just wanted to let you know that, for me, these are the best! I started off with the "discovery kit" and was hooked immediately. That would probably be the cheapest and best way to see if her products work as well for you as they do me. The next best kit is the "Illuminate, Rejuvenate and Exfoliate" kit.

Take care and I hope this helps! Linda

Linda,

Thanks for the great information! I was going to just start out with her serum and the alphy lypolic wipes. What think you of these and can they be purchased separately from her kit? Also, What exactly do the wipes do for the skin? I already have a microdermabrasion that I am using (only half way through). I don't want to dupliate this product. Do you purchase on line or through QVC?
