What is this sensitive skin spot on the back of my leg? It hurts!

It's very strange...almost feels like a sunburn but it's not. It's not red and there are no spots or anything there but I can just lightly run my hand over this spot and it hurts. My paints even bother it. Oh yeah, the spot is on the back upper part of my leg. Been bothering me for about 4 days now.....what could it be?

I have the same thing only over a much larger area.Mine is caused by nerve damage.is there anything like little blisters or anything there?it could be shingles if you see any blistering. This would give that same feeling.Have you had any problems with the legs at all before this started?Just trying to narrow down a cause as this would not be considered a normal thing to have just happen.Marcia

Just started. I'm starting to think it's a nerve problem caused by working out my legs but I'm not sure. I just started lifting weights and have been concentrating on my legs a little more. I hope it will go away over time.
