Post Question about self tanning lotions

I am very fair, milk white skin you could say. Well, is there a product that would give me a tan without streaking and one I could use on my feet, knees and face? I look so putrid with such white skin in the summer. Tanning is out, all I do is burn. If anyone could help, it would be wonderful! I would love to look good this summer.
Thanks

hi spirit-when i was pregnant i wanted to be tan-i went to walmart and bought the cheapest self tanner they have-the name is something like no advertisement-it worked well and was only 5.00 for a huge bottle-first i exfoliated and then i would do my legs-i also scrubbed my fingers with a soapy brush afterwards to keep them from staining-the color was pretty-not orange-the tan lasted several days-the second time i used it it didn't do as well but you couldn't tell unless you examined my legs too close-you can try it but don't be mad with me if it doesn't work the same for you-good luck-wattagirl

Like you I am really fair as well. Of all the self tanners I have personally tried, my favorite is still Clarins Self Tanning Milk. I base this on color, smell, and consistancy. Others that are popular are Estee Lauder Go Bronze, or Lancome. Clarins runs about 25 dollars. I have never had luck with Nutrageana ( miss spelled that one!) or that endless summer. Smell was awful plus color went on to clothes. Best bet is to experiment. Go get some samples from different ones in the cosmetic department. So you can try before you invest. I love self tanner. I can't live without it.

I'm very fair skinned, too. My favorite self-tanner is Bain de Soleil. It's about $15.00 at Wal-mart. It gives an even tan that doesn't look fake. I haven't put it on my face though. I haven't worked up the nerve to do that yet, but my legs have a medium tan and I love it. Can't live without the Bain. You can get a free sample from thier website. I would give you the site, but we're not allowed to give urls. Just type "Bain de Soleil" in the search and it should give you their website. Good luck in your search for the right tanner. Once you find it, you will never stop using it.

Hi. I was curious if anyone heard of a product called Tantowel? I'm pretty fair myself, and burn easy. I happened to be watching HSN the other day, and they were selling this product. Their pitch was that you could use it on every part of your body, including your face, it didn't stink, and depending on how much you concentrated the towel over the same spot, that would determine the darkness of the "tan". Sounds too good to be true. Any info.? Thanks!
