Talking Inexpensive Beauty Secrets

Hi

I have very little money right now to spend on cosmetics, so I am looking for products that work well but are not pricey. Do you know any products that work really well but are cheap?

Any beauty tips are welcome...

Skin
I bought a cheap moisturizer by biore and it feels good but it doesn't smell good at all, YUK. Does Cetaphil have a good (oil-free) moisturizer? I do use Aloe Vera gel from a plant to moisturize my body, that's inexpensive and very effective. I heard avocado's are good for the skin? I read somewhere that the best facial mask clay is actually old fashioned cat litter, you can mix it with hot water and make a real effective mask for no money. I heard all models use it, have you tried it? Do you know the name of the kind of cat litter I should get?

Hair
What can I do to make my hair look really healthy, shiny and beautiful? I use shampoo and conditioner by SUAVE cause it's cheap and it's ok. I don't have the money to buy extra stuff like conditioning masks or anything. I heard that olive oil is good to put on your hair, do you know if this is true? What does it do and how should I do it? What about coconut milk?

These are some things that work for me. For a good facial exfoliant every other day I mix a little cetaphil and baking soda, rub in gently and rinse. To exfoliate my body I use epsom salts mixed with a little grape seed oil. (once a week) For dry hair try rubbing a little olive oil (extra virgin) into your dry ends, cover with a warm towel for a half hour then wash out. Olive oil is also great for dry cuticles (rub in a tiny amount before you go to bed (I use the grapeseed oil) and also makes a good cheap massage oil.
If I think of anything else I will let you know.

To make your hair really shiny and plenty of volume, also gets rid of dandruff, Apple Cider Vinegar. I mix mine half and half.

Astringent toner, Apple Cider Vineagar, again. Use a moisturizer afterwards though.

The kind of cat litter you were talking about is just a Clay based type.

Visine for zits that are red and mad.LOL

Hemroid oint ment for bags or swelling under the eyes. Don't get it in the eyes, and wipe off after 5 to 10 min.

Bath or foot soak, epsom salts, wow that tinges read on the bag for how much to use. If your diebetic you can't do it though. To stimulating for the circulation or something.

Oatmeal is soothing type facial, you could use it after the clay mask.
Then the ACV toner, followed by a moisterizer. I use oil of olay'complete' it has UV protection.

That's all I could think of at the moment. Diana
