Hello everyone. I'm coming here with the hopes somebody can help me narrow down what is wrong with me.
Three weeks ago I was eating with friends and had a "chickenbone stuck in my throat" sensation. It seemed to go away briefly but returned a day or so later and has gone to nearly choking me to being merely annoying. I listen to headphones, sometimes quite loud and since there was ear drainage involved I decided this must be the reason. Smoking also irritated this feeling therefore I discontinued nicotine use.
In addition to the chickenbone feeling, ear drainage and a low-grade temperature, I also experience throat pain. Sometimes it is an aching pain, similar to that caused by drainage. I've considered perhaps it is my sinuses I also noticed a strange lump on my calf muscle. Everybody I ask seems to believe it's a wart forming but I mention it because it might be important.
What led to my posting is swelling of nodes in my armpit. This of course, could be a reaction to new soap I am using but I have never noticed painful swollen lumps in my armpit that occured only on one side in response to sensitive skin. In addition I'm also strangely tired and I find myself dozing off at 7-9 p.m. and waking up at 1 or 2 a.m for the last week.
I'm 24 years old and am not on any medication. Being a former-smoker I'm worried about the big C, but this seems to be an infection of some sort. I'm going to call the doctor on monday or tuesday, in the meantime I'm hoping someone can possibly help me narrow it down.
Thank you so much
Dorragh
