Tummy tuck question

Anyone who's had a tummy tuck--what about that scar? Does it get any better with time? I would love to have this procedure, but that hip to hip scar is one of my hesitations.

Tummy tucks. Never mind the scar although the scar sticks along way at either sides of your bakini line. As years pass, these aren't as noticable. You tummy looks so great who is looking for a scar.

How long is the healing process? I have 2 young children. How long will I be in bed after the procedure? Are you happy with the results? I'm really nervous about the surgery but I would like to be able to wear a bikini (or at least tankini) again in this lifetime. My skin doesn't have really good elasticity and having kids really beat me up.
