Smile Boredom and overeating

Did you know that for the course of one day, all you need to eat is the equivalent of one airline meal?

I recently lost thirty pounds, simply because I resolved to only eat when I am hungry. When I actually feel hungry, from my stomach.

Before I decided this, I used to eat all the time. I was 20, 5'0", and 140 lbs. Way too heavy for my tiny bone structure. I'm still a bit over my personal goal weight, but I'm comfortable with the way I look.

I feel so much better now, healthier, more awake. I used to eat when I got bored. I didn't realize it, but I did. I'm so glad I realized that my personal overeating habits were due to overeating... Now I find someone to hang out with, play frisbee or basketball, or simply watch a movie, and stay out of the kitchen unless my stomach is growling.

Anyway, I just wanted to share my story. It's about choice, not drugs.

Re: Boredom and overeating

Is that true??!!?? Only ONE airline meal for the whole day is all we need to eat?? Wow... I didn't know that. I mean, I always knew that we in general consume a lot MORE than we really need (if we were eating fruits and veggies and protein most of the time, we most likely wouldn't need all that "other stuff") , but I didn't know the portion was sooo small!
