I want to have rhinoplasty but also have enlarged turbinates and need some reduction of those at the same time. I have consulted with both ENTs who have subspecialty in facial plastic surgery, as well as with plastic surgeons who do not have training as ENT/nose function. I'm not sure which is better (technical dr. vs. aesthetic dr.), but leaning towards the ENT.
Does anyone know how many years an ENT (Otolaryngologist) with a subspecialty in facial plastic surgery must train in facial plastic surgery by law to make him qualified as facial plastic surgeon?
