need advice/how does Darvocet 100 compare to percs?

I have several Darvocets 100mg/650.... the generic of it is propoxy stuff can't spell it out right...I'm still hanging on to my taper program....but all I've ever wanted to take was in the 5's 7.5's or 10's of opiates..so I don't know where Darvocets 100's fit in there in comparison to those...can someone offer me advice or know how they compare...for example is darvs 100 -same strength as say 10's in other stuff or what do they comparble with?? Help me out please...

I'm not sure of the equivalents. But I know i've read in different studies, and it is mentioned in my pill prescription book that many people OD on Darvacet/Darvon. It's says because they don't feel a full ephoric (spelling) effect that they keep taking more and more. I've only had Darvon and it made me sick so my Doctor switched my pain meds so I don't know very much about this.

yeah Tina I know what you mean...that's why I never bothered with them cause they didn't give me the "buzz" I was just wonder if they would be good to use in my taper program...and how many to use or cut up or whatever...hopefully someone will know?

p.s. i am currently taking 3...7.5's a day....some days a pill more when I get real sore...I believe I have fibromyalgia?? I hurt like crazy and get sore with activity...but I have'nt done much either all year due to severe depression...I need to get in shape bad...

I believe Darvacets are weaker that hydro or Oxy. I know they are labeled for mild to moderate pain relieve. Did you try a search engine for info?

I know that small amounts of darvocette are given to addicts kicking in the detox centers. Tapering eh? I feel for you. Why not just go cold turkey and kick that crap for good? Tapering is agony.
