Weird "squishy" heartbeat when nervous.

When I get really nervous (and I mean REALLY nervous), my heartbeat feels "squishy". Instead of it going "thump-thump", it feels more like a "squish-squish". I haven't felt this in a while, but I thought I would bring it up.

I've had 2 EKGs recently and had my heart sounds checked at the ER. Everything appears to be perfect. Although I've had anxiety-related hypertension (150/85) since I was 13 or younger. At least, I believe it to be anxiety-related. I'm now 27. My BP can actually go down to the 130's/80's

I have my very first doc's appointment on Friday and I just wanted to be reassured in case he sends me to a cardiologist or something.

Thanks!
