Hi Everyone. I'm a bit worried.

I was diagnosed with MVP back in 1985 when I was 16. It used to bother me a bit but I eventually cut out caffiene about 5 years ago and that helped a lot. About 2 years ago, I started getting a tightness in my chest. The doctors say it's acid reflux but I'm not sure. I had an upper endoscopy and they said my esophagus looks fine. Then, about 2 months ago my palpatations started acting up A LOT. It bothers me very much when I eat and sometimes when I'm hungry. And sometimes for no reason at all. It's getting really bad and I'm starting to get worried. It's VERY uncomfortable and a couple times I've stayed home because of it instead of going out somewhere.

I saw a doctor a month ago and he told me it's normal with MVP. He gave me beta blockers which didn't seem to do anything. I've been fine for years and for the last 2 months it's worse than it's ever been. Sometimes it beats so hard I feel like I'm going to pass out. I'm having blood taken this Thursday for tests.

Anybody have any ideas. I could really use some help or advice.

Thanks
