rhinoplasty for breathing problems.

I got my nose broken a while ago and the swelling has not went down. i cant breath out of it properly and it is crooked. im going to see a surgeon soon, what will he do to make it better. its gotten pretty ridiculous and looks like a beak instead of a nose. will he make it smaller for me so that it looks normal?
i live in the UK and its on the NHS, will this affect my treatment or will i have to pay extra.
please help i really suffering from anxiety.
