Is this lopsidedness normal after rhinoplasty?

Is this lopsidedness normal after rhinoplasty?
Has anyone had any eperience with one nostril being lower than the other after surgery?

I had surgery abour 6 days ago. Closed surgery. I had my nose narrowed, my columnella brought down a bit and my alar flare corrected.

My left alar is a almost 2mm lower than my right alar. Could this be the result of swelling? Or is it a mistake?

I'm so worried... I've heard of people having uneven swelling on the upper parts of their nose but i've never heard of anyone having uneven swelling to the point where one nostril is significantly lower than the other.... the doctor said that they looked straight to him when he sewed them on.... that was a pretty vague statement.

I'm almost dreading taking the splint off on thursday... I'm so scared i'm going to just burst into tears at the doctors office...

Has anyone had any experience with anything similar? I'd love to hear from you if you have.

Who was the Doctor that performed your operation?

I do hear from others on this board that for at least the first month after surgery your face will look that way.
