Hello! I was diagnosed about a month ago with Supraventricular Tachycardia and put on Toprol. Then this past Tuesday I went to see a cardiologist and he said after look at my holter results he didnt see where the GP had seen SVT on it. He ran an echo (havent gotten the results yet) another EKG and ordered a tilt table test for Monday. He said he thought it could be Neurocardiogenic Syncope, also known as Vasovagal Syncope. However, when I looked it up everything says it goes hand and hand with a SLOW HEART RATE. He took me off the toprol so it would be out of my system for the Tilt test and my heart rate sped right back up. Anyone heard of this? Can you have Vasovagal Syncope with Tachycardia? Thanks for any help!!
