Cool Flexion-Extension X-Rays Results

Hello Everyone, I'm new on this website and I recieved my medical report in the mail today and I thought maybe someone could help me to understand what's going on with my Cervical Spine. Here's what my doctor had to say, He has an Angular Gibbus of approximately 29 degrees between the base of C6 and the base of C4 When he flexes forward,Angulation between C6 and the bottom of C3 is approximately 1 to 2 degrees higher at 29 degrees. He does display the Spinous Processes, but there was no Translational Instability, but there's Angular Instability seen on the Flexion - Extension Films. Impression:Chronic Ligamentous Instability of C4-C5 Does anyone knows the normal measurements for the degrees between the vertebraes and does anyone know anything about chronic Ligamentous Instability, because I don't know if my C-Spine is Stable or Unstable with these symptoms I mentioned above, any help would be appreciate. Thank you, Rob

Re: Flexion-Extension X-Rays Results

I have only had these x-rays post ACDF surgery. The only thing I know about the spacing is that the spacing should be the same (after fusion surgery). If the spacing is different, that means that there is "movement", something that shouldn't be. I wish I could be more help.

Can you give more information?
