Question Have a question.........

Anyone have any severe inflammation that is ravishing youre body??? My husband has reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS) aka chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and ankylosing spondylitis. He has every disk but top one in his neck either herniated, compressed or buldging as well as 2 bone spurs. He has two more disk's (that we know of) in between his shoulder blades herniated, compressed or buldging , and then 4 more like his lower back herniated, compressed or buldging as well as 2 more bone spurs, He has severe nerve damage. I am curious. What would cause severe inflammation around the heart and lungs?? He's been havinmg this for a few months now he says it feels like he's in a bear hug or a 500 pound man is sitting on his chest. help please????

Re: Have a question.........

Oh my lord, I feel awfull for your husband, that poor man must be in such pain, there is hope though, you have prolly checked web sites for this disorder, but if you have not found anything with good info, go to the search engine "Google" there was a very good site found there, that had alot of info, I just copied and pasted your sentence,"reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSDS)" and it popped up with alot of sites to go to. Here is another section I copied from the site, "There are no symptoms except pain, swelling, heat or coldness, and color change.
FACT — There are many other symptoms including movement disorders (difficulty starting movement, increased tone, increased reflexes, tremor, muscle spasms), weakness, fatigue, skin rashes, frequent infections, migraine headaches, and others may be found as more data is accumulated. "If you cannot find the site post and if its ok with rules wise I will copy the site for you, so you can go and read up on this.Apparently everyone and anyone can get this disease after an injury, which is pretty scary!but on the high side , this site says the disease can burn itself out, and the trick is to find a Doctor who has knowledge of it, and will treat it with all they have, also it said each patient responds to treatment differantly , so it is trial and error to find the right meds,as far as your husband chest symptoms this I know alittle about cuz I suffered a massive heart attack and had double by-pass,inflammation and or edema(water retention) around the heart will make you feel like that, but 1st, has he had his heart checked out??? so as to rule out any blockages and such.I truly hope he feels better soon, he has enough in his basket with all the spine problems, without haveing to deal with this other disorder.Gee's once again , there is hope for the disorder, just need the right doctor, and please post if you need help with the site.Solar
