No Carbs = No Acne, I'm 100% Clear

Here it is...the cure to oily skin & acne: Avoid eating bad carbohydrates

fact: bad carbs when taken into the body converts into insulin
fact: insulin is a hormone
fact: a hormonal imbalance can cause the sebaceous glands to react and produce more oil, oily skin attracts bacteria and inflame the skin into acne

simple solution: avoid bad carbs, substitute your sugar cravings with natural fructose found in fruits

this strict and boring diet has worked for me:

all kinds of meats, fruits, vegetables and water only

i've posted the link of the research papers on acneorg but this board won't let me post any links

Carbs are converted into sugar. The body doesn't know the difference between good carbs (complex) and bad carbs (simple) - it's all sugar as far as the body is concerned - the only difference is the rate of absorption.

Re: No Carbs = No Acne, I'm 100% Clear

Bro Im a Personal trainer and Bodybuilder. I stay on a clean carbs all year round and never touch anything with added sugars. And I still Break out all the time. In my case its gotta be hormonal. My acne has now shifted to my Chin after being chin clear for 2 months. I think its becasue i stoped using Bp for 3 weeks but im gunna start it up again. I also drink lots of water and dosent realy help. I think im going to try to get on accutane again. Unfortunatly all the derms in my area wont accept my health Insurance. Im gunna go to my normal doctor and see if I can get a refferal or something. Its ben along time since on accutane (4 1/2 years ) SInce comming off i had moderate acne just white heads but recently I i have got 3 cysts i dont know why? Maybe from the b-5 that i was on for a week and then gave it up. Or maybe it was from the proactiv i was using on my skin. ANyone get ok results from antibiotics>? I remember When i was 15 It did nothing but maybe it could now? who knows

I hope you are kidding...this is so far from the truth I don't believe you could actually believe this

Re: No Carbs = No Acne, I'm 100% Clear

Everyone's body is different. Some eat very healthy and still get acne and vice versa. For me, I have high testosterone levels even though on a healthy, low-glycemic diet. And fructose is just as bad as glucose in raising insulin levels.
I'm glad that this has worked for you but do not assume that just because you see someone with acne, it is because they are sugar junkies. Many factors contribute. There is no easy "cure".
