Hummus? Feta?

What do you guys think about these two food items?

The past two days I've made a big salad with olives, tomatoes, onions, feta, hummus, and avocado (with fat free caesar dressing). Yesterday I put sliced turkey in it, too, and today I ate a turkey burger patty.
For breakfast I had a starbucks latte (nonfat). I feel like I messed up for some reason, but I guess this was pretty healthy, right?

I love them both! They are not that bad for you. Depends how much you use. I think with both items you don't have to use alot they are both very flavorful. Feta cheese you can sprinkle into tiny little pieces and make it seem like you have more. Its great stuff esp on salads and hummus is delicious on sandwhiches! I love Roasted Red Pepper hummus!

Re: Hummus? Feta?

I totally agree! The red pepper hummus is the kind that I have. It's delicious! I sprinkled the feta on my salad and put spoonfulls of hummus inside my turkey slices and rolled them up...yummy greek dish! I've just been addicted to it recently...

Re: Hummus? Feta?

For me, the hummus is on my A-list (high fiber very low glycemic carbs) but I am trying hard to cut back on the saturated fats in cheese and any of the low fat variants taste like Qaqaa. So I only have room for some occasional Swiss. My beloved BRIE has finally been removed from my forebrain; I LIVED on it during Atkins.
