Any suggestions for a good pair of walking shoes, anybody walking or beginners.

I always wore New Balance and my hubby still does. But I have a problem not wanting to tie my sneaks - I would just slip them on and off already tied. Then they would get loose and offer ZERO support. At first I looked for velcro closures until I found my Skechers. Now, I wouldn't wear any other sneaker.
"Skechers Premix - Premium" is without doubt the MOST comfortable and supportive sneaker available for women. And what's even better is they do not have laces. Instead they have an elastic vamp that looks like there are laces, but you just slip them on and off. You do need to be sure to get the "premium" model - these are the ones that offer the best cushion and support. I buy mine online for about $45. There are cheaper models that look the same, but they are not the same.
I wear my Skechers EVERYWHERE - for working out, distance walking, around the house, etc. I never take them off unless I have to dress up!
