OK, I have just started charting but don't know what exactly the temping charts should look like. I have been up and down and up again and don't know if that is normal...I looked at the example chart they had enclosed with my basal thermonitor and it doesn't look like mine. On the example they showed an elevated luteal surge that seemed to stay elevated...which I thought meant pregnancy...but then it showed a period after the elevated part. So now I'm confused, here's some questions for all you:
1)Just prior to ovulating should your temp dip then surge? (I think mine did)
2)After ovulation should temp stay elevated,
right up to AF?
OR
3)Should temps decrease back to normal average temp range before AF comes?
4)If you are successful with ovulation what should your temps do? (I thought being successful meant temps continued to be elevated)
5)Before ovulation should your temps be somewhat irregular? (mine were up and down)
6)Does the surge mean you are ovulating or soon to be?(how long after surge starts are you fertile for)
7)I know that I've heard the
wettest discharge day is supposed to be your most fertile, is that right?
8)After successful implantation what should discharge be like? (I didn't temp or chart before so don't recall)
9)On weekends, I like to sleep in, so should I still temp if I'm not temping at the same time, or should I skip those days?
GEEZ!

I didn't think I had that many questions...sorry guys!
Thanks for your help...I would have thought having a 2 year old already would have made me knowledgable in this TTC stuff...but this temping/charting thing is all new to me, so I'm relying on all your expertise.
