Hyperreflexia & clonus

I'm not dx'd , but would like to know if anyone with lyme has this?

Dr. today said that I'm very hyperreflexic in both legs (right leg worse) and he noted several beats of clonus in right ankle.

Anyone dx'd with lyme have this? These are upper motor neuron signs.

Still searching for answers!!

I am being sent a testing kit from Igenex though!!

Family dr is agreeing with the possibility of pd now. Was going to let me try sinemet, but wants to let dr at CC in Nov to see me as I am.

Hopefully blood tests will be back from Igenex before appt at CC in Nov.

Re: Hyperreflexia & clonus

Thanks Jane,

Was your test positive for lyme?

Clonus is found when you sit on exam table with legs hanging down. The dr put his hand on the bottom of your foot and pushes up real quick.

If your ankle/foot keeps moving when he stops, this is clonus.
