DC Lasik Surgery

I'm looking into eye surgery. I have minor astigmatism. Is it worth risking surgery on vision I don't believe is too bad?

Are there any recommendations on reputable Dr.'s in the Washington DC area? Any advice/help would be appreciated.

I'm from Maryland and had it done in Hagerstown. It's not been a week yet, but I am pleased with the results. 20/20!!

Mine was new vision laser center. It's not too far from DC.
